Yesterday
I saw the leaves
Kira Braun
Stuck stubbornly
Still on the tree
Long after winter’s grip
I walked listlessly,
An effort to empty my mind
And prepare my heart ~
The first lesson of the year...
And the parallel was realized;
That to succeed
I must stick stubbornly
To my dreams.
