Look inside
It’s all there for you
You’re not defined by another ~
In our own selves
we are wholly true

If we wait
For their approval
For a nod or helping hand,
We’ll wait forever and never grow
Kept inside by our own command

Yet after all the lacking
We fear we’ll hurt them so ~
If we leave then they’ll have nothing;
I’ve got news for you,
they already do...

Let go of the bond
That you never had,
It’s not to late to be free,
To find yourself, to live a life,
Find your value, be your ‘me’.
